A public meeting of the Technical Pipeline Safety Standards Committee (TPSSC) and of the Technical Hazardous Liquid Pipeline Safety Standards Committee (THLPSSC) will be held to keep the members updated on current safety concerns, proposed rules, and future proposals. |

A public meeting of the Technical Pipeline Safety Standards Committee (TPSSC) and of the Technical Hazardous Liquid Pipeline Safety Standards Committee (THLPSSC) will be held to keep the members updated on current safety concerns, proposed rules, and future proposals. The PHMSA staff will brief the committee members on pipeline regulatory actions and policy concerns. The TPSSC and the THLPSSC will take part in the meeting by telephone conference call. The public may attend the meeting at the U.S. Department of Transportation, 1200 New Jersey Avenue, SE., Washington, DC 20590, Room E27—302; call in using the telephone conference number; or join the Microsoft Office Live Meeting. Directions to DOT and SecurityIf you plan to attend the meeting in person, please send an e-mail to Cheryl Whetsel before August 4, 2009, to have your name added to the security list. When you arrive at the DOT building, enter the 4th Street side of the East Building. This entrance is closest to the conference room, # E-27-302, and someone will be available to escort you. Driving instructions and metro information are available on the DOT website at: www.transportation.gov/directions.
